How do I cancel after I have paid my money and realize this is not for me. What is cancellation policy guidelines
We're Sorry to see you go.
There are two ways to accomplish this.
1. Call YTB Support at: 618-463-5989
Hours are M-F 7AM -10PM CST
or
2. Fill out a support ticket in your back-office and explain your situation.
In accordance with YTB's policy and guidelines, RTA’s travel booking website, and the monthly RTA license fee, are each refundable if written (or email) cancellation is received by YTBTN within 5 days of payment; each is non-refundable thereafter. All cancellations are effective when received in writing by YTNTN. Credit card chargebacks, if initiated by RTA to obtain a refund, will be honored by YTBTN as a cancellation notice only when
received by YTBTN from the credit card issuing bank (usually several weeks after chargeback is sought), and will result in a $25.00 unauthorized refund surcharge to RTA if received by YTBTN after a 5-day cancellation period has expired.

I am not the slandering type but all my friends said Don't do it.. I did it anyway several months into this program, several thousands dollars later in booking flights, I have never recieved one dollar.. I am pissed off and disappointed..I would love to be refunded and an apology for time and effort and most of all my investment during a recession…
Tracy Heiser @ 6:30 pm
I have a hard time even believing that. I had made money my first week and get paid EVERY week and monthly too. If you joined with a partner - perhaps the checks are coming in their name and you ought look that way instead? I have been in YTB for near a year and we are making fantastic money. Everything they said would happen has happened. I cannot imagine.
jon @ 11:36 pm
Fill out a support ticket in your backoffice.
If you don't know how to do that, simply watch this video and follow the instructions.
In your support ticket, ask YTB corporate, about your alleged booking commissions.

To who it may concern:
I would like to cancel my account & membership in ytb. This is my ID#259552. Stop deducting in my account effective April 19, 2008. Please refund the money that I had paid since I had started paying the monthly fee since September 19, 2007 to March 19, 2008.
My second request I want to refund the $500 that I gave. I want to quit because I'm not getting anything back. This is not an easy deal these days. I'm looking forward to receive the full money that I want to refund . Thank you for your kind consideration.
Respectfully yours.
Cesar Lopez

Some of You People Are UNBELIEVABLE
No wonder you can't make any money.
You can't follow simple directions.
Mr Lopez.
It seems that you are confused so I'll spell it out for you.
The site you are on is not YTB corporate.
You'll have to contact YTB corporate to execute the request you are making.
To cancel your account, you'll have to follow the directions that were spelled out earlier.
Read this post from the top….

I really enjoy doing ytb but however I cant afford the 49.95 a month. Is there any other way to stay in the business without paying the $49.95? If there is not, please cancel my membership.
Sincerely,
Lora M. Berruy

YES there is a way….sponsor 6 people!!!

LOL . . . I totally agree with you Jon. They are obviously not trying to make it work. YTB provides an awesome income opportunity, but you have to work your business. The money won't just fall into your lap. You have to get out there and work for it. If you need help, that's what your Power Team Leader is for.
Charlie @ 8:11 pm
why would someone right you an apology letter for not knowing how to run a business. Do you think McDonald's sends apology letters to people who can't operate their McDonald's at a profit. This is the funniest thing I think I have ever seen written online. Get a life, better yet get some money. Go spend your 49.95 a month on starbucks coffee..
Charlie @ 8:13 pm
I can only imagine, lol, why you guys can't make money. Who posts on a person site asking for a corporate refund. You guys make me laugh….what a surprise that you can't run a business that only costs $50 a month to a profit.
Jason @ 6:21 pm
YTB has never missed a check. So if you didn't get paid then you either didn't actually book "thousands" in flights or you had the check sent to the wrong address. Now, if you only book a couple of tickets that paid a small commission (remember, no one in the travel industry makes much money on flights) then they may still have your check until you reach at least $10.
Jason @ 6:23 pm
These people that quit are frustrating. I feel the reason they quit is because they only had to pay $450 to get started. If they would have had to pay more maybe they would have taken it more seriously.
tania @ 3:36 pm
if you don't put anywork in it you can't succeed…you can't expect things to fall in your lap…like anything give it time and it will grow!
tania @ 3:36 pm
i am so behind you. i am doing fantastic…
Alise @ 8:22 pm
I honestly believe you can make some money in relation to YTB and a lot of it. But it doesn't compare to what REAL travel agents make. Its an excellent alternative though considering travel agents have to spend hours in class, in addition to major money in tuition, books, and marketing in order to do the same thing, but they make 90% commission as opposed to 60% commission. Not to mention the return on airline is higher than $6.00. The disadvantage is that you will have to spend a lot more in start up costs in relation to starting your own travel business which will be a lot more than $500 + $50 per month.
I decided that YTB wasn't for me at this point in time. I make a lot more in real estate than I do in relation to YTB. At the same time, my start up costs were a lot more, I had to devote time to training, continued traing (national requirement), dues and continue to dish out money for marketing and other needs. BUT my return from 1 house is more than what a return would be by doing a cruise for 125 at $800 a cabin, so people so do the math. I got a good job and a good gig on the real estate side so I will pass. But for someone who is willing to devote the time and marketing to doing great things can really make this work. Do the math….If you do a trip for 30 cabins, at $800 per cabin, that would equal $24,000. YTB gets 16% commission of the $24,000.00 travel (if its with Carnival Cruise ship) which would equal $3840.00 to YTB. Out of the $3840, as a RTA (basically a rep for YTB) at 60% would equal $2304.00 in commission. Not bad. The more you do, the more your return will be. Not to mention if you have people under you doing the same. So to each his/her own. But I submitted my cancellation tonight.
I might reconsider down the line, but for right now, its not.
In addition to submitting a cancellation to the YTB site, you can also send an email to: legalsupport@ytb.com, support@ytb.com to cancel so you'll have a record of your request of cancellation. Good luck to everyone!

You guys are a joke!!!! You are misleding people into this business. I was fooled!!! I am terminating my contract ASAP. If you dont sign people in you cant make money for selling tickets and receivig only $3.00 if so much on each ticket. I honestly dont think that this business was to started out like this but someone got greedy and doing it the wrong way by just getting people to sign in and not selling airline tickets. This will soom fall short. Believe me!!!
tania @ 5:13 pm
if you are RTA's why don't you go in your back office and read the frikin directions how to quit! This business has amazing opportunities. BUT YOU NEED TO WORK!!! This is not the LOTTO!! but it can be for you if you put effort into it. Someone obviously sold a site to you??? If you are not a self starter go slave away for someone else and make millions for him while you only get $10 an hour and let the rest of us make an remarkable name for YTB! Hurry up and quit and stop complaining already!

You people are so rude in your response to others. You need to just shut up.

I just would like to say it is truly a tragedy to be a part of something and not believe in it. I almost became one of the YTB team players, until I was introduced to something that far exceeds the amount of money that YTB could generate for me. I'm willing to share it with any of you who truly want to continue in network marketing and make some real money. Email me at gods1man7@yahoo.com for information. I'm asking you to trust me in this. I would not steer you wrong. For those of you who are suceeding in YTB I wish you God speed and much success. But there really is no reason to be rude to others. See you all over the top. gods1man7@yahoo.com
Jason @ 5:53 pm
Rosalyn,
#1: If you have been in networking long enough you know that the money becomes just one of the benefits. If you are only in it for the money you will most likely fail.
#2: Did you ever go to a Red Carpet Days? I would guess not. Did you ever look the principles of YTB in the eyes and see the integrity? I would guess not or you would not be trying to recruit YTB to your company (which by itself is unethical).
#3: How long has your company been around? Do you realize that 99% fail within the first 5 years? Only the ones with a real infrastructure survive.
I question whether or not Rosalyn did any real research. There are people way smarter than you and I that did and have made a wise decision to be a part of something that is going to make Excel look like kid's play and YTB has the foundation to do it.
Unless Rosalyn takes a more objective look at YTB I feel Rosalyn might be having some of the same feelings as the 2 friends of Bill Gates that said "no".
