YTB Sail-a-Thon a Huge Success
WOW YTB! YOU DID IT!
YTB Sail-a-Thon a Huge Success
Thanks to you, our valued RTAs, YTB has posted the largest number
of one-day cruise passenger bookings EVER!
Final totals are still being determined, but total booked passengers are expected to be near 13,000 for the 24-hour period of the November 8 YTB Sail-a-Thon!
Ann Sedgwick, Carnival Business Development Manager, says,
"We are still counting the bookings. This was a truly remarkable day for YTB. Thanks to all at YTB for participating in the Sail-a-Thon and showing your tremendous support. We truly appreciate your efforts!"

In addition to this record breaking number of bookings, Carnival Gift Certificates were very popular, with over 1,500 sold in the 24-hour period. What a great gift for family, friends, business partners, birthdays, anniversaries, and more.
Over 100 Customer Support team members worked for 24 hours to provide up to the minute customer service during this event. The 7-hour live webcast was watched by thousands of RTAs from its sign on at 5 pm until sign-off at midnight! Many thanks go to the YTB IT and Audio Visual departments for an outstanding production. The Home Office was crowded with excited visitors, team members, webcast guests, and the YTB mascot Travel Lee, as they watched the booking numbers steadily grow on the Sail-a-Thon toteboard. Here's a few photos from the Home Office webcast event!
