If you have a busy life, and the time you can allocate for YTB is limited…

What Is Your Time Worth?
What would happen if you placed a specific and measurable amount of money on your time? Kind of like if you saw ALL of your time in "billable hours/increments".
We all know that certain professions bill for their time. For example, I have a friend who is a very respected attorney in California. If you contract with him, he will bill you at $400.00 per hour. And he gets it all day long!
So it is fair to say that he sees his time worth about $100.00 for every 15 minute increment. And you can be sure that he isn't going to let you eat up an hour or two just listening to gossip, complaints etc. At least not without getting paid, huh?
What about you?
I affirm that I am a Level VI Director with YTB and that I earn $500,000 per month. That puts my time at almost $3,000.00 per hour; or $750.00 for every 15 minutes.
What does it look like if that is how I SPEND my time? What results would I produce given the value I just set for myself?
If you have a tough time even beginning to comprehend that, then pick a target you CAN see and move toward.
For example, you could say, "I affirm that I am a Level I Director with YTB earning $100,000 a year." That would make your time worth about $50.00 per hour.
The important thing here is this: that you are very intentional about what your time is worth and how you spend it. And are you ready for this?
What about WHO you spend your time with?
Is that a good investment, or are you wasting valuable time, and resources.
Frankly, at $50 per hour, we might have to take a second look at who wants our time and for what, huh?
Now, I will concede that not everything is about money. I love to volunteer for instance for certain causes like feeding the hungry.
But what I AM encouraging you to do, is to see your time as the most precious resource that you have, because it just might be.
I get it that some times it is fun just to goof off and do nothing. Once in a while, that's just what is needed.
But in building your YTB Business, consider this: If you don't act like your time is very valuable, if you cannot truly see your time as worth $50 or $100 or even much more per hour, why should anyone else treat you as if it is?
By the way, putting this coaching into this newsletter for you at my billable rate just cost me about $1,500.00.
But if just one of you "got it", it was worth it!
